Statholdergaarden was established in 1993 by one of Norway's celebrated chefs, Bernt Stiansen after he won the prestigious culinary competition, Bocuse d'Or. The restaurant is credited with one Michelin star and serves an assortment of authentic dishes like Norwegian langustine, skate, and turbot. You can either opt for a set menu or a la carte. Apart from flavourful food, Statholdergaarden offers an exquisite selection of wines. The restaurant is beautifully done up with classical interiors, offering an excellent ambience for guests. If you're lucky, you might even get a chance to speak to Bernt Stiansen himself, as he usually takes out time to talk to the guests.
