Welcome on board for a relaxed, quiet sailing trip on the Oslofjord! This is a calm, genuine experience where city views, green islands, and open waters meet.

This trip is entirely shaped by what you want to do. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to sail, you are more than welcome to take the helm, feel the wind, and learn the basics from me in a relaxed, hands-on environment. If you prefer to just unwind, you can sit back, enjoy some simple snacks and drinks, and take in the scenery.

As a passionate sailor who crossed the Atlantic in 2025, I love sharing the peace of the water. I also have a deep fascination with architecture, so I’d love to point out how Oslo’s modern skyline connects with the historic shoreline as we drift past.

I run these small-group trips through Toby's Sailing to help support my studies and education. Every guest who joins me genuinely helps me take the next step in my journey, and it truly means a lot to me to share this beautiful fjord with you.

Hi, I’m Luke Toby, your skipper. As an Atlantic-crossed sailor, my deep love for the sea has led me to the beautiful Oslofjord, and I can't wait to share it with you. We can set sail either from Lakseberget Båtforening in Sandvika or right from Aker Brygge in Oslo—wherever fits your plans best.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to sail, this is your chance! I invite you to take the helm and feel the wind fill the sails. I will guide you through all the basics step-by-step, helping you understand the art of sailing in a completely hands-on, no-pressure environment.

Prefer to just unwind? Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning fjord scenery. Together, we can find a hidden bay to drop anchor, swim straight off the rocks, or just soak up the sun on deck. Along the way, I love sharing stories about the fjord, its rich history, and the unique islands we pass.

We have no fixed itinerary here—this experience is entirely tailored to what you want to do. To make our time together even more special, I'll have local refreshments and traditional Norwegian snacks ready for you on board.
